Memory freeing bug in 3.5

Hi Nigel,

Hope you are alright?

I was for a long time using 2.6.39, which was flawless. I have now changed
to 3.5 but ToI is hanging my computer pretty much any time my memory usage
is 3/4 of the total.
It hangs on "Freeing XXXmb of memory". I have tried using
no_console_suspend and kdb with stack trace, but I'm unable to do anything
- it just hangs...

Any idea what might be wrong? I know that there were problems with
transparent hugepages before, but even with that disabled I get the same
bug.
