Hi, trying TOI since a long pause, with kernel 3.10.13, using tuxonice-for-linux-head-3.10.0-2013-07-14.patch.bz2 . I get $SUBJECT when trying to hibernate using sh$ echo disk > /sys/power/state echo: write error: Device or resource busy sh$ dmesg [ 827.652979] TuxOnIce: No matching enabled allocator found. Resuming disabled. sh$ cat /sys/power/tuxonice/debug_info TuxOnIce debugging info: - TuxOnIce core : 3.3 - Kernel Version : 3.10.13-toi - Compiler vers. : 4.6 - Attempt number : 0 - Parameters : 0 667648 0 1 -2 0 - Overall expected compression percentage: 0. - Checksum method is 'md4'. 0 pages resaved in atomic copy. - Compressor is 'lzo'. - Block I/O inactive. - Swap Allocator enabled. Swap available for image: 0 pages. - No I/O speed stats available. - Extra pages : 0 used/2000. - Result : No hibernation attempts so far. I am a bit confused. I do use LVM on one dm_crypt volume group. I'm not sure if I had TOI working with that before. I know it worked with plain LUKS-encrypted partitions before. My swap volume actually only exists for TOI (my setup from back when it didn't support anything else); I activate it right before suspending and deactivate afterwards. It is activated right now. Am I missing some new setting? I'm attaching my kernel config to be sure, too. This most likely is something obvious, some stupid oversight on my part, right? Alrighty then, Thomas PS: Still, the kernel upgrade doesn't help my LAN not getting a carrier sometimes unless doing a standby cycle with the cable connected ... damn, there were times when Linux used to get better and worked best on Thinkpads anyway. But this is the wrong list for _that_. _______________________________________________ TuxOnIce-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.tuxonice.net/listinfo/tuxonice-devel
