Dag,
Please see http://kickstart-tools.sf.net for ideas. This project
started at least 5 years ago and was written by Perl guys before Python
was huge in Red Hat land :) I've taken over ownership of the project
in the last ~2 years. We use the kickstart-tools-web perl CGI program
so our end users can make a kickstart floppy, CD or PXE configuration
with embedded ks.cfg. It uses the concept of hardware profiles and
software profiles which are heavily customizable.
