Are you willing to share these "unofficial" kernels as well ? I used 
to put XFS in the Tao kernels as well, but not put them into 
production machines because I never found enough time to test them 
thoroughly. If you do the packaging anyway, maybe it would at least be 
better if the exact same package gets tested more, so that people 
using it can trust it more - and share their experience of failures 
and fixes (if any).
