YMMV. We're buying new rack-mounted servers -- all manufacturers seem to have forgone AMD/32 entirely. The options are 32bit Xeon, 64bit Xeon, and Opteron. We develop lots of very specialized apps (geoprocessing) that may have issues when migrating to 64bit, but of course we'll have to do that some day. In the meantime, we may run 32-bit Tao and our stuff on an AMD64 server, then dip our toes in 64bit gradually. Oh, and did I mention that I standardized the company I work for on Tao? Bow before me, for I rock. (Nah, you do, actually) ;) -- Juan Carlos Castro y Castro Desenvolvimento de Software Gisplan Tecnologia da Geoinformação Ltda. - http://www.gisplan.com.br Av.
