Hi list! I am trying to install Tao x86_64 U3 on a new box with an MSI K8N Neo2 motherboard (which has nForce 3 chipset). The x86 version of Tao boots all the way up to the graphical install screen (but not further because I want to install it on a 3Ware 9500 controller for which the driver is missing in x86). The x86_64 version however hangs during the initial boot up (even before the welcome screen appears). The system hangs immediately after the presence of the two PATA controllers is reported. The x86 version immediately reports the PATA devices it finds, the x86_64 version hangs before it can report any devices. Ideas anyone? Thanks and merry x-mas to all! Remco
