Hi, Does someone run one of these? I do have one for loan and i am stunned about it's low performance, so i'd like second opinion :P For 4-disk RAID5 the tiobench is showing some less than 10MB/s sequential write speed and for read some tops 40MB/s which is IMO just pure crap. 3ware 9500-series gives some 100MB/s writes and 150-250MB/s for read depending a little if one runs it on PIII or some DDR-boosted P4. My Adaptec setup is Intel chipset dual-P4/Xeon mobo (PCI-X/100Mhz) with only one 2.4Ghz P4/Xeon. I am just curious. I did loan this card from a fried to get some more perspective myself for this SATA-RAID business as i only have 3ware myself. Anyone? -- Pasi Pirhonen - [email protected] - http://iki.fi/upi/
