Maybe better for you to just > quit and see if anybody would like to replace you as maintainer for > x86_64/ia64. > Ok. I've been thinking it and more i think, more clear it is. Since being nore and waiting David to catch up for U3, i started to merge in those enahancements i've been working with. Same time i decided to alter a little of tao-release. tao-release mod made it be *3AS* as it's big brother with side effect that yum would look updates under tao-3AS-<arch> instead this tao-1.0-<arch>. I put that on the images, uploaded and before releasing those told David about the modification. Since then we have been arguing about this and few other things. Result being that i refuse to make any more images until i can release those U3-images and David refusing the re-organization of updates structure. If my count is right, this is third time David asks me 'to just quit with Tao Linux'. This time i do just as wished. *********************************************************** So efective NOW, i stop maintaining any Tao Linux arches and will direct my free time to CentOS-3, CentOS-4 and cAos-2. ************************************************************ If someone else will maintain Tao Linux x86-64, ia64, s390 and s390x, it's fine by me, but i won't. I'll convert my work with ia64, s390 and s390x to be Centos-3 soonish. It was good year even tho we were pretty tight with David as of U2 already. I was just bored to death as i didn't have few crucial *TL* SRPMS and could not release final ISOs. Had to wait some month before finally being able to publish U2-images. As it's David's project and i am just a sidekick here, i'll leave as it's not my project. -- Pasi Pirhonen - [email protected] - http://iki.fi/upi/
