I don't know why this works ... just that with my KVM it does.  I have
anomalies when using:
Option      "Protocol" "IMPS/2"

in my /etc/X11/XF86Config file.  If I switch it to:

Option      "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2"

Then everything works fine.

I have this problem with all the RHEL rebuilds and also with any Linux
2.6 kernel distro I have used.
