I know this KVM/mouse combo worked with RH 7.3, but I prefer to stay > as > current as possible. I had the same issue with a couple of my machines. I found that when I changed the KVM it solved the problem. I am using a Belkin 4 port unit on a Dell server that would go nuts on the off brand unit (same as you, acted like a key press), but has been solid since I moved it. I have another box that runs just fine on the off brand unit. All are running TAO. Note: This server also ran fine on RH9 on the old KVM. I have a hunch but without looking at code or doing more digging it is just that. I think that the newer code does a little more probing when looking at the mouse and keyboard. Some KVMs are setup to simply emulate a keyboard and mouse while others are designed to mimic the keyboard and mouse that are plugged into them. Of course this could be the result of too many encounters with the Iron Skillet my wife loves so much. Ouch. Doug
