Thank You Bogdan,

I followed Your advices (see emails: Taolinux and S875WP1-E Sata Raid) 
and everything is OK now.

What I did:
1) I updated once again the BIOS upgrade, just to be sure that nothing 
was hanging. I also had to format the disks with those utilities from 
bios level sataraid.
2) started the installation by : linux noprobe, and then I selected 
ata_p11x. It worked and I got into the Disk Druid to partition manually.
After some thinking and reading manuals, I got the configuration 
(almost) like I would like to have it. And voila, now I have working 
server with mirroring vital information. (I didn't forget the need of 
backups ;-) )

Previous night I installed succesfully Tao into my home office machine 
on hdb drive. Only problem is that when you skip installing Grub, 
anakonda tells that you should make a boot diskette, but there is no 
occasion to do that. Luckily I have some other means to boot that box 
and I was able to edit original grub.conf in hda and also fix the 
problem in an older linux in hda. Now everything works also there.

At least there will be new driver for sata in mid 05 (see somewhere in 
RedHat docs). I'll have to read more docs (and I think it's actually 
Adaptec).


And special thanks to David L. Parsley of Your excellent work.
I'm going to test version 4 when You will publish it.
Upgrade process could be tricky according to docs, of course depending 
what has been previously done in the system.
