My first attempt failed.
I was doing the update in a screen session. yum update takes about 40
minutes before it starts to do anything (on an Athlon 800 Mhz) then it
started upgrading.
I disconnected the screen and tried to re-connect later and I cannot
reconnect to the screen. Yum also seems to be broken now.
[root@desktop ~]# yum update
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/yum", line 6, in ?
import yummain
File "/usr/share/yum-cli/yummain.py", line 23, in ?
import yum
ImportError: No module named yum
I guess I will nuke the boxes and re-install.
I suppose that the upgrade process on a x86_64 box will be even more
complicated?
