RE: ftape errors

The tape drive is in a Dual Pentium-II 300 Mhz with 512Mb ram.  I tried
lowering the rate limit to 2000 (which is reported to be the bare
minimum for ditto max drives) but it didn't make any difference.  I
tried doing a small backup (b/c large ones were taking FOREVER) and it
turned out ok.  Maybe I can just ignore and be patient with large
backups?
