That has done it!

Guys, thanks to you all for your excellent help in getting my tape drive
configured and working. I have just done my first test backup using tar and
everything seems to be operational. Yippeee!

There seems to be quite a lot of free software available to create and
restore backups. I need to backup 2 drives, my main Linux drive and a Win
2000 drive (on a Samba share) so it's not like a major backup job -- it's
less than 10GB. What software do you recommend I use? I'm most interested
in ease of use, ideally I'd like a GUI interface but the software must be
free / open source.
