Hello all,

I've been searching the web for a few days now without avail so I'd
figure I'd give you guys a try although this maybe a bit OT.

I basically need a working example of some QIC-122
decompression routine (to avoid reinventing the wheel) - it seems
to be loosly based on LZ (de)compression and used in various
QIC-data formats such as QIC-113

Working on a damaged backup for a friend - don't bite my head off -
it's Win98 MSbackup ... :o( I'm not much of a Linux programmer
but I do know my c and asm and perl and whatever so one of you
may be able to help me by pointing me to some source code I
might use (for ripping apart and porting subfunctions to Win
platform).

The backup is either damaged or (probably) incomplete ... it's
missing some of the header/index parts so MSbackup chickens
out with a 'no catalog' error message.

I'm hoping to manually set up some decompression routine and
pointing to various offsets for starting and see what comes out...

Any QIC-122 decompression routines/functions (or maybe even
QIC-113 interpretation) out there ???
