Im trying to get mtx to work on Redhat AS v4 and am having much trouble. I have a Sony Lib/81 connected to an Adaptec 39160 adapter card. I can see the tape drive with all mt commands so I know that the system sees it. I have one time got mtx unload to work but after that none of the mtx commands would work. When I look at /proc/scsi/scsi I see that the changer and the drive are on seperate id's but on the same LUN....could this be a problem and if so how do I get the system to cooperate? I tried putting lines in modules.conf and modprobe.conf and doing the mkinitrd thing but that doesnt help either. Any help appreciated... -- Darryl Cook - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-tape" in the body of a message to [email protected] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
