iomega ditto external

i'm having exactly the same problems as this guy..

i noticed that he was never replied to - was the issue ever resolved ?

my kernel (2.4.19) is reporting an irq for the parport

i'm using 4.04a ftape

i've tried *every* suggestion i've read online & still it tries to probe
for irq & fails


what i did notice was that the option to pass an irq to the module as an
argument doesnt work - has that been replaced by the aut probe ?
