it powers off immediately, scoot and i added that at a time where we
didnt even have nbd swap support, nowadays i'd propose to change that
code to use telinit with the right runlevel as option instead and leave
the shutdown process to upstart (or sysvinit for distros still using
that :P) so things like nbd swap devices or possible stale mounts (i.e.
stuck ltspfs crap) are handled by teh distros shutdown process ... it
might take a little longer that way but adds a safety net ...
