I am no developer at all, but I like to try this one on Ubuntu 8.04 here 
at home. But to me it seems to conflict with this configuration what I

I have GDM on thin client, but I can't login. On the console is message 
for running x11vnc with this option:

"x11vnc -ncache 10"

And then there is www site for more info:

http://www.karlrunge.com/x11vnc/#faq-client-caching

Should I remove x11vnc from thin client side? But I need that for Vinagre.

Or if that option is needed where I can put it?
