sshfs and tmpfs

Just did a quick verification that if one mounts an sshfs mount on a client and then mounts a tmpfs on top of a directory within that sshfs mount on the client, and writes a file into that tmpfs, the file is NOT reflected on the server side. So, in terms of magically mangling local menu files for local apps, we will need a different approach. And, if the approach is to do this with a tmpfs mount, then it would have to be a server-side tmpfs mount, which has numerous issues related to it...
