Hello,
While working on integrating ltsp-cluster with LTSP, I have developed a
few patches fixing some small issues that I found.
I posted them on: https://code.launchpad.net/~stgraber/ltsp/ltsp-trunk
Vagrant said he'll have a look when he's time.
rev 872)
When starting ltsp-build-client with --prompt-rootpass and the two
password don't match, that made ltsp-build-client to exit. The user then
had to rebuild a new chroot. The patch starts passwd in a loop that it
exits only when returning 0 (two passwords match).
rev 873)
When using the localapps with applications that use the sound server, I
had some error messages from Pulseaudio basically saying that it refused
the socket connection. The easiest way to fix it that I found is to set
PULSE_SERVER to 127.0.0.1 before starting the localapp.
rev 874 and rev 875)
A feature that we had in ltsp-cluster is the ability to remotely
shutdown the thin client from the application server. We used to do that
using our own xprop/xrexecd running as root and triggering shutdown.
With the current implementation of the localapps it's no longer possible
to do so as the localapps run as the user. This patch adds the ability
for any user to start shutdown and eject as root.
