Try installing:

libglib2.0-dev
libglib2.0-data

And redoing the autogen.  The recent language translation stuff that
gets done at build time I think requires an additional build dependency.


In terms of the log, what you are seeing is the ldm screen script
repeatedly start, connect to ldminfod, then ldm or the Xserver crashing,
and the whole thing looping back.  First check to see if there is any
reason the Xserver may be failing (perhaps due to lts.conf configs or
some such).  If you can rule out the Xserver as the source, then you can
dig into why the ldm session may crash (bad autologin, weird Xsession.d
scripts, etc).
