LDM_DIRECTX should work with Debian Lenny. note that it pretty much disables
encryption entirely(except for password authentication), rather than just using
a faster encryption algorithm.

with newer versions of ldm, it seems LDM_SSHOPTIONS was implemented, but i
can't figure out looking at the code if it's actually used anymore.
