Hello,
I'm trying to install LTSP-5 on Gentoo with the Overlay.
I had several minor problems (like different path between layman-1.1
and 1.2 (/usr/portage/local instead of /usr/local/portage...)), but
the last one stuck me.
When ltsp-build-client, in the "Installing extra packages" part, I
have the following message :
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
spawn_chroot(): wrapping command 'emerge --update --deep world' in
chroot script
spawn(): running command 'linux32 chroot /opt/ltsp/x86 /var/tmp/spawn.sh'
Calculating world dependencies .
!!! Problem resolving dependencies for sys-apps/util-linux
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy ">=sys-libs/e2fsprogs-libs-1.41"
have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- sys-libs/e2fsprogs-libs-1.41.4 (masked by: EAPI 2, invalid: SLOT is
undefined)
- sys-libs/e2fsprogs-libs-1.41.3-r1 (masked by: EAPI 2, invalid: SLOT
is undefined)
The current version of portage supports EAPI '1'. You must upgrade to a
newer version of portage before EAPI masked packages can be installed.
For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or
refer to the Gentoo Handbook.
(dependency required by "sys-apps/util-linux-2.14.1" [ebuild])
!!! Depgraph creation failed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And after that, the same thing when it tries to do "emerge joystick
ltspfs ldm ltsp-client xdm"
Of course, i checked portage version, I have 2.1.6.7, so it should
manage EAPI 2
Somebody has an idea ?
Thank you
PS : please be indulgent with me and my english, its my first post and
i'm french
