I nagged the appropriate people here so they can look at it and try to optimize it so it doesn't make the boot that slow (though it's slow but rock solid vs fast but buggy) ;) http://www.stgraber.org/download/bootchart-ltsp-20100119-4.png That's the same without nbd-proxy :) So we have X starting after 12s and everything loaded a bit before 20s. That's really quite good especially as I plan to make it 3-5s faster by moving some part to upstart. I'm hoping to have nbd-proxy to be almost as fast as without it by the end of the week. - -- Stéphane Graber Ubuntu developer http://www.ubuntu.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAktXBUoACgkQjxyfqkjBhuxRxACfUpR42JzAp6LfB3diNCF4iJLJ 0RYAn1EOJos/XMennA6GJugtRyTtWSqO =3xkK -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Throughout its 18-year history, RSA Conference consistently attracts the world's best and brightest in the field, creating opportunities for Conference attendees to learn about information security's most important issues through interactions with peers, luminaries and emerging and established companies. http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsaconf-dev2dev _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-developer mailing list.
