Idea for storing LTSP configuration in LDAP

The last few days I have had a look at storing LTSP configuration in
LDAP, and trying to figure a non-intrusive way to implement this in
LDAP.

and let me know if there are better ways to do this. I am aware of
the effort from 2000 to do similar things, but the LDAP schema used
there is hard to combine with other schemas. I want to be able to
have one LDAP object per computer, and storing both DNS, DHCP and LTSP
configuration in this one object.
