Hey guys,

As we are getting closer and closer to BTS, I'm currently focusing on
getting as much code I have laying around in bzr.

The first major change I had on my list for a while is the rewrite
(almost) of LDM that we did here at Revolution Linux.

I did a test build yesterday for maverick which can be found in my PPA:
https://edge.launchpad.net/~stgraber/+archive/experimental/

The associated bzr branch is:
https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~revolution-linux/ltsp/ldm-trunk-nlnet/

That's the work we've been doing following some funding we received from
the NLNet foundation.

That version includes:
 - LDM is no longer a fullscreen app, it's now a simple dialog + a
background
 - We are using Scotty's wwm for window management
 - SSH and RDP support are now plugins meaning regular LTSP and RDP are
both using the same user interface

Merging will be a bit tricky as that branch is quite old and it seems a
bit broken, so worst case scenario I'll just re-apply the changes one by
one on ldm-trunk.

That version is supposed to make it a lot easier to add more "backend"
such as NX and even support for an alternate authentication method (as
we discussed at last BTS).

My hope is to have that merged in ldm-trunk somewhere this week,
comments and patches are as always welcome ;)

Looking forward to see you all in a few weeks.
