I'm looking forward to a presentation on the code, too. I notice (only
quickly) that the plugins are all written in C. I am wondering if that
is a requirement for the plugins and how flexible the new LDM will be
for those srcripters we have on both the dev side and the user(admin)
side.

I guess this would be an LDM 3.0?

I would have liked to see the merge happen after BTS, but I'm with
vagrant in looking forward to hearing/seeing the new functionality and
improvements.
