Hello,

Ubuntu is having its first alpha release this week (on Thursday), once
it's release, I'd like to update LTSP and LDM in the archive.

So my current plan is to release a new ltsp, version 5.2.5 and the first
ldm release since the big merge that I believe we can call 2.2.
This would probably happen on Thursday or Friday.

I'm running both of in a production environment without any regression
that I could notice (or was reported somehow). So I think we're in a
good enough shape to release ldm 2.2.

I believe it'd be great if Scotty could merge his jetpipe change in
ltsp-trunk before I release 5.2.5, I'll handle the required paperwork to
get the new dependency in main for Ubuntu.

Is there any concern with releasing current ltsp-trunk and ldm-trunk ?

My plan is that once that's done, I'll start doing some changes, mostly
in ldm-trunk to support the new ltsp-cluster infrastructure, including
our daemon, new lts.conf parser, ...

These changes should result in quite a lot of commits in ldm-trunk but
will only affect ltsp-cluster users running on my experimental PPA.
Regular LTSP users won't be affected and neither will "stable"
ltsp-cluster users as the code will be fully backward compatible (as in,
detect if we have the daemon, if we don't, just use the old code).

Have a good week!
