if it would be such a small thing i wouldnt sit here that frustrated
now ... apparently there is a distro (alt linux) who forked out code two
years ago, and didnt contribute a single line back upstream, i worked
nearly a year on getting the requirements for ltsp down to 32M with the
(techincal, not marketing) constraints i'm bound to with ubuntu, to be
told that they use their for of our code with 16M ?. people seem to see
me as a blocker and to accuse me that i'm following canonical marketing
startegys only (which is not true especially the last six moths where i
spend my about 10-12h/day in #ltsp on my own dime aside the ubuntu or
canonical work i do (yes there is a difference between the two))

i started ltsp development because it was fun and i liked it, totally
imndependently from any canonical decision. much of todays code was
written by me, ltsp5 is bigger than canonical for me, it became my heart
blood and soul. its not the first time it comes up that people are not
able to tell my job from my developer role in ltsp (or that people miss
to see that my ubuntu decisions are technical not marketing based) i
dont want ltsp to take damage but i also have to fill my fridge so since
i cant (and dont want to) give up my job and moving upstream to complete
cross distro team maintenance seems to not have helped that either it
seems the only possible step to me.

hoping that will make altlinux or others with teh same attitude commit
some code back at least.
