Hi
Some time back I applied Fransis' patches to allow LDM autologin, and
have been just-using LTSP ever since.
A vague worry is that when you logout LDM logs you straight back again.
We've been using it 'logout and power off'. Recently a user did that and
destroyed the gnome desktop: Both task bars missing.
Easy to fix: create a launcher for xterm on the (blank) desktop
rm -fr .g*
All well again. Has LDM evolved since I installed ? I did a test install
in Feb and the only changes were my changes.
How to handle 'logout' with LDM autologin ?
Should we put a logout delay of say 5 secs, or what is the considered
opinion ?
James
