Thanks CyberOrg for making this clear. Should have written this.
So my actual question was, does your distro have such a script and where does 
configuration for it take place?
Or is it on schedule to provide such a script?
The idea is to guide the user with our GUI from installing of the server to 
configuration of clients.

The XML takes a timestamp of the last edit of the real config file, so if you 
change it manually the XML will be updated to fit the configuration, reverse 
same thing.
