lp_server is not licensed and it was not possible to determine who
initially wrote it at all to even get it licensed in any other way.

jetpipe is used since two years as the default when lp_server was
dropped upstream ... and yes, the current version doesnt suport serial
printers, i know though that scott has a working version with serial
support but there is no released code for it yet.
