Yes, it can be distributed outside of the tarball. It's just linked statically with uClibc. But it's not required for building and just provided as a favour to users. I can distribute this separately if there is concern about this.

I ought to get p910nd a project page of its own as it has not been connected with Etherboot for years now. There is no mailing list, and hardly anything to talk about. Just email me.
