LTSP_FATCLIENT
boolean, default unset
Enable Fat Client support. It's automatically enabled
if any sessions exist in /usr/share/xsessions.

I.e. just set LTSP_FATCLIENT=False in lts.conf, under [Default].
Or remove /usr/share/xsessions/*.desktop from the chroot.
