Hi,

I use what's called a LDM server in LTSP terminology. It handles authentication with OpenSSH and Homes with SSHFS.

It's a server with OpenSSH running and user accounts and homes set up.

Once you have your LDM server, just add this line in your lts.conf on your LTSP server :

LDM_SERVER=<ldm_server_ip>

and then run

 $ ltsp-update-sshkeys <ldm_server_ip>
 $ ltsp-update-image --cleanup /

Hi All,

what's the best way to manage authentication and home on an dedicated server, shared between several LTSP systems?

Which authentication server I've to use?

Thank you!
