Absolutely, it's an even better idea! Thanks for the hint.

I'll look that up, too. Might be a good idea for "forgetten" logins. The 
only thing is, in Mate I cannot influence these settings anymore once 
the users have logged in for the first time. So it would be a thing for 
/etc/skel.
