Hi Douglas,

this is very wrong and is not how LTSP works.
Your text.txt file should be there after you run ltsp-update-image.
You need to troubleshoot what went wrong.
Which distro/flavor/ltsp version are you using?
E.g. did you follow the official tutorial?

Are you using any weird scripts for guest accounts etc?
