This may potentially cause problems with ltsp-PNP, because the NBD image for the clients is built as a copy of the server, which runs on a virtual machine, and then this system image run on a real machine. The (virtual) hardware of the virtual machine may be a bit different from the hardware of the real machine, and this is what may create some problems. I would suggest that you keep the home directories and user accounts on the virtual server, but build and serve the NBD image from one of the client machines (you have to attach a HDD to it first). The configuration file `lts.conf` on this machine should include this directive as well: `LDM_SERVER=10.11.12.13`, where `10.11.12.13` is the IP of the virtual server. This will ensure that the authentication and home directories are served from virtual server, while the NBD client image is served from the real machine.
