Repositories are split into subdirs, one for each release:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ts.sch.gr/ppa/ubuntu bionic main
...so, Ubuntu 20.04 will have another word in place of "bionic" there.
The command to add the PPA will be the same,
add-apt-repository --yes ppa:ts.sch.gr
ltsp19 will NOT exist alongside ltsp5 in the same repository/release.
I have finished with the basics and ltsp19 now works with PAM-based SSH
authentication, with SSHFS or NFS3, and of course the sysadmin may also
manually install/use NFS4/LDAP/kerberos or whatever they like.
I believe ltsp19 will be usable in September.
The question is: do users want to have ltsp19 only in Ubuntu 20.04,
or do they want to have:
ltsp5 in Ubuntu 20.04 and ltsp19 in the PPA, so that they can select
which of those they want to install, as a "migration period"?
No need to answer that now. Around August, I'll prepare a project for
ltsp-community in github, which will replace this mailing list, and I'll
post what ltsp19 can do and what it cannot, and ask for your feedback there.
Cheers,
Alkis
