Re: System wide keyboard configuration not working on GNOME

Test it in the LDM login screen, while typing the username.
If it works there correctly if means the system and LTSP are properly 
configured.
If then it doesn't work inside GNOME, then GNOME doesn't respect the 
Xorg defaults, in which case you'd file a bug report against GNOME.
