The new site is up and running: https://ltsp.github.io
The documentation there should be more than enough to setup LTSP, but of
course contributions are always welcomed.
The old ltsp.org site is unmaintained, the server malfunctions, is out
of disk space, full of spam etc; don't link to it anymore.
LTSP 19.10 was uploaded to Debian:
https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/ltsp_19.10-1.html
Ubuntu 20.04 and Debian Bullseye will only have the new LTSP.
New LTSP users were able to implement guest sessions and get LDAP
authentication working, so I think that it has enough features for most
use cases.
I'll be helping people with their new LTSP setups in
https://github.com/ltsp/ltsp/issues, in
https://github.com/ltsp/community/issues and in IRC
(http://ts.sch.gr/repo/irc) for a couple of more weeks; then until
summer I'll focus on other projects, ...
...so if anyone's planning to migrate to the new LTSP, now is a good
time to get either upstream or local issues resolved.
Cheers to all!
