LTSP 3 and 4 only supported thin clients.
AFAIK the problem only happens in fat clients.

So if you want to get the LTSP 3 or 4 behavior,
just set LTSP_FATCLIENT=False in lts.conf


Now if you want to make this specific wine program work over sshfs in 
order to be able to run it locally with remote home, then you'd need to 
file a bug report there. Or switch to nfs.
