If you go to https://github.com/ltsp/ltsp5/wiki and click to create a
page, you'll see an online editor with [B]old, [I]talics etc, so you'll
learn the syntax instantly from there.

See also my first reply on this thread, on how to *automatically*
translate from mediawiki to markdown with copy/paste, so that you don't
even need to learn the syntax.
About LUG, sure it'd be nice, but we don't want all the content as some
is completely obsolete.
