I used an old in.ftpd from a old libc5 SuSE distibution.

All i had to do was to create a user named "ftp" (with root permission to be
anonymous root).

Start the in.ftpd with the -D option.

Now you can login as "anonymous" or as "ftp".

If you want to access the box with a password you have to add an user with a
real crypted password (from a other linux box).
