In general, I just use a vanilla kernel, in cases where it won't do, I recommend using your own kernel, however, I can put this on my to-do list, it is just that usually individual driver updates don't have as beneficial a cost/benefit ratio as other things, but, they do make it eventually to the top of the list, in the past, with the 2.0.39 kernel, I had worked on updating the aic7xxx and ext2fs drivers, for example. -Tom
