bigger ramdrive needed

Hello! 
Where do i have to change somethign so i get about 8MB as ramdrive (Root 
Partition /)? 
 
Cause i boot the floppy, and then i am gonna install some more tools from
the 
net. 
Kernel is compiled for the sitze of 8192.
