Yes.  In my hand is a tomsrtbt 1.7.135 customized to include ppp.
According to my label dated 1999 August 6 it is "134 - dmsdos - elvis
+ ppp + chat + dip", presumably identifying the executables that I
deleted and added to version 134.  As I recall, it worked fine, but I
haven't used it for a long time.
