Re: booting from tomsrbt fails

How much memory does the machine have?  It requires 8MB.

If you have less, you may be able to install something like
slackware from floppies, setting up swapspace, etc.  Tomsrtbt
is more intended for rescue and recovery of semi-modern systems
(it will work on a 386 with 8MB, but will boot very slowly).
