No. Reiser made fundamental changes from (?sp) 3.4 to 3.5, and only ported the latter to kernel 2.4, not 2.2, and the Reiser available for kernel 2.2 does not support filesystems created with the current Reiser. You can replace your kernel with your own 2.4 kernel with Reiser support. Or use ext3 instead.
